The Bible describes us as the Bride of Christ and Jesus is our Husband. When we give our lives to Jesus, we are married to Him. We enter a covenantal relationship with Him. A relationship that will last forever. Jesus becomes our husband and He will never ever leave. You become His child and He will never stop caring for you. Jesus is now your true friend, a friend who has already laid down His life for you to bring you back to Himself and save you from the empty way of life. He calls us His sons and daughters and through the blood of Jesus, we have full access into the presence of God. We can enter the presence of the holy God because Jesus shed His pure and precious blood. We now get to experience the fullness of Jesus. We get to partake in the authority that Jesus gives us to heal the sick, to raise the dead, to cast out demons, to set the captives free, etc.
